Young Adults Bible Study |Fridays, 7-9 pm | The Spot | Ages 18-25

Finding direction for your life doesn’t have to be difficult. Reading the Bible isn’t a “have to” or “you better, or else!” It’s a deep wealth of precious gems waiting to be mined; the key is to know what to look for. It’s essential to remember that God is always interested in adding to your life His gems of truth.

This study is intended to help you take hold of the “sifting pan” God has given you that will enable you to identify things of real truth. Keep your heart open—it’s the pathway to your life!

Please join Brad King in The Spot as we continue our journey through the Bible. This will be an exciting time of worship, connection and gleaning from God’s word. Don't forget a notebook, something to write with, and, of course, your Bible!

Nation Parents' Night Parents of Nation-age Youth
Wednesday, May 21, 2008 @ 7:00 pm
The Spot
Wednesday, May 21st | 7-8:30pm | The Spot

Parents, there are 168 hours in every week. Hopefully, your youth are sleeping at least 56 of those, which leaves 112 waking hours. At times your youth are at church more often than at other times (such as during VBS!), but for the most part, our leadership gets just 3 of those hours to spend time with them each week. In other words, we have limited opportunity! Would you join me and our Nation leadership for the upcoming parents’ night? We want to partner with you in raising GREAT kids(!), and to do that, we need to connect and dialogue with you. The theme for May’s meeting is “Created for Good Works!” (Eph 2:10). I’m learning that parenting is hard work, but like you, I don’t want to reduce parenting to trying to keep my kids from getting into too much trouble. Let’s aim high together so we can give our children the best advantage possible—and set them up for great success in this life. They are destined by God for great things.” Josh Engelhardt

Questions, please call The Nation office at 688-5775 ext. 220.
